The Story:

This skirt is a stand out. And what could be more stand out than our muse Frida. From a humble origin to a difficult health situation, her passion for being true to herself was a constant though out her life. Many times controversial, she didn’t allow circumstances to limit her. For the ones who don’t know she had to be in bedrest for several months, due to a bus accident. During this time, she asked to adapt a painting stand to her bed and painted herself using a mirror. This makes us think? How many times did I make excuses trying to explain my lack of achievements? It is hard to admit to that, but if we deeply analyze, when we want something we do it, and when we don’t we make an excuse. Sometimes, the excuse is fear, deeply buried fear. But this cannot exist in the same place of our happiness. I wish you courage, just like Frida had. Don’t stop.
